OSS Watch offers the following RSS news feeds

1. Summary: aggregates each of the other OSS Watch RSS feeds

What the RSS feed looks like and a link to the feed itself:

Launch of Open Source Robotics Foundation [Tue, 15 May 2012 16:57:35 +0100] Willow Garage announced the formation of The Open Source Robotics Foundation, Inc. The OSRF is an independent, non-profit organization founded by members of the global robotics community. Their mission is to support the development, distribution, and adoption of open source software for use in robotics research, education, and product development.
OSS Watch's May newsletter published [Tue, 15 May 2012 12:12:06 +0100] This month we start with a guest blog post from Ross Gardler of OpenDirective. Ross' experience as Vice President of Community Development at The Apache Software Foundation and a mentor at the Outercurve Foundation puts him in the perfect position to consider 'What makes a community led project work?' We follow this with a blog post from Rowan Wilson who is looking at an activity of standards creation bodies where they try to get patent owners to agree to 'fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory' (FRAND) terms in order to allow wide-spread use of the standard. In particular, Rowan tells us how this relates to the UK Government's Cabinet Office seeking to create a policy around the use of open standards in government IT. Finally, Sander van der Waal blogs about a very pertinent issue facing many researchers: what to do with the data collected as part of a research project. Sander urges us not to keep our data under the desk and introduces us to a project called DataStage that may well provide the solution to this perennial problem.
Open Repositories 2012, Edinburgh, 9-13 July 2012 [Tue, 17 Apr 2012 16:54:33 +0100] The seventh international Conference on Open Repositories (OR2012) will take place at Edinburgh University 9-13 July 2012. The theme of the event - Open Services for Open Content: Local In for Global Out - reflects the current move towards open content, 'augmented content', distributed systems and data delivery infrastructures. The conference will have both general conference sessions and open user group meetings for the three main open source repository platforms: DSpace, Fedora, and Eprints.  There will also be a strand for the popular 'Repository Fringe', an informal, creative gathering of repository managers and developers to coincide with the internationally well-known Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
OSS2012, Hammamet, Tunisia, 10-13 September 2012 [Mon, 23 Jan 2012 15:39:57 +0000] OSS2012, the 8th International Conference on Open Source Systems will take place in Hammamet, Tunisia, 10-13 September 2012. The event aims to provide an international forum where a diverse community of professionals from academia, industry and the public sector, and diverse OSS initiatives can come together to share research findings and practical experiences.
Flossie: women and software libre, London, 25-26 May 2012 [Mon, 23 Jan 2012 15:37:58 +0000] Flossie 2012 is an event for women who use or would like to use FLOSS in digital arts, NGOs, education and social change movements. Flossie 2012 will take place on 25-26 May 2012 at Queen Mary at University of London, where participants will come together across boundaries of discipline and sector to share ideas, skills and experience.
