Conference venue

The Said Business School is a modern venue located in the heart of Oxford in close proximity to the railway station. See map.

Parking

There are no parking facilities at the Said Business School. Parking in Oxford is challenging at best. If you require parking during the day we recommend you use the excellent Park and Ride system in Oxford.

Accommodation

Oxford is a popular tourist destination and there is a range of accommodation to suit all tastes. If travelling by car, you would be advised to find accommodation with parking and then use public transport to reach the Said Business School, since parking in the City Centre is not an option.

College accommodation

OSS Watch has reserved a small number of ensuite rooms at Worcester College. Worcester College is approximately a 3-minute walk from the conference venue, the Said Business School. There are 30 rooms available on 10 and 11 April - note - reservations must be for both nights. The cost of an ensuite bedroom is £75.79 (inc. VAT) per night and this includes English or Continental Breakfast served in the 18th century dining hall. There are no parking facilities. Worcester College is set in 26 acres of gardens and some of the accommodation is a ten minute walk around the lake from the college entrance. Regrettably, we can only refund booked college accommodation if we can reallocate the room to another delegate, otherwise you will be liable for the full cost. See cancellation policy

Open Source and Sustainability is organised by OSS Watch, http://www.oss-watch.ac.uk/, the open source software advisory service for UK higher and further education. For further information contact info@oss-watch.ac.uk.
