Case studies

Case studies can offer insights that other research methods do not. The detailed, in depth analysis of a specific example often results in an ability to draw out best practice and learning points that are generic across a broad range of situations and examples. Case studies can be particularly relevant in higher and further education as institutions across the sector face the same common issues and community experience takes on an even greater significance.

* These case studies are a set of seven taken from a sustainability study commissioned by the JISC Learning and Teaching committee and funded from HEFCE's IT Infrastructure funds.
